Some handy advice
for using public toilets

Flush the toilet before sitting down, this will eliminate any bacteria which may have formed inside the bowl since the last time it was flushed.

Use WC Pocket so that you can sit down with confidence and avoid any contact with the dirty toilet seat.


Use a piece of toilet paper to action the flush and thus avoid any direct contact with the dirty button.

Wash your hands after using the toilet: apply soap for at least 20 seconds not forgetting your wrists, the spaces between your fingers or the backs of your hands.

Rinse your hands thoroughly for at least 10 seconds.

Once you have washed your hands do not touch the tap, which is especially likely to harbour bacteria, use a paper towel to turn the tap off.

When you leave the public toilets, you should also use a paper towel to open the door and avoid any contact between your clean hands and the door handle, this is another zone which can be especially unhygienic, imagine the number of people who touch it every day without washing their hands before leaving the toilets!
